It all started with Lego sets…

Me with by best friend and older brother Lukas Easton.

My life is chronicled through working with my hands. The woods outside my parents’ house in Maine was littered with forts, makeshift swords out of wood, small boats, and anything else I could think to create out of the natural materials around me. The inside of the house had so many Legos that we cleaned them up using a snow shovel, and whole universes arose from those little bricks.

In my professional career, I never strayed far from my love of creation and working with my hands. From being a handyman to the captain of a boat in a sustainable salmon fishery in Alaska, I gravitated towards jobs where I could directly interact with the world around me. I found that I had a knack for finding ways to improve upon current methods of operating, which brought me to the world of design.

I also hold a degree in architecture and several certificates in design and build, which gave me a strong foundation of knowledge and experience upon which to develop my own methods.

I love life, I love people, and I love the natural world. I am committing my life to creating a thriving world through design, where my designs leave both the user and the planet empowered, emboldened, and thriving.
